Amazon.com Recommendations Confusion

So, I recently purchased The Complete Calvin and Hobbes from Amazon.com. It's a hardbound edition with all of the comics and a nice introduction by Bill Watterson.

Amazon makes recommendations of other products based on past purchases. They also list the items that led them to make a specific recommendation. Today, I was perusing "My Store" as Amazon calls it and found this.

According to Amazon, they recommended this because I bought the Calvin and Hobbes book. WTF?

I propose we have a contest to find the nastiest thing that Amazon sells.

I think we're going to need to define "nastiest" before we go any further.

And I assume by saying "amazon sells" you mean anything available on their site. The bondage mask is actually sold through Amazon's site by a third party vendor.

Nastocity shall be judged by the reader(s) of this blog. It could be anal lube, or it could be a book by Rush Limbaugh. I'm sure I can rig up some sort of voting system.

And yes, anything that is available on their site is fair game.
