Day 1 in Seattle

So, day one with our guests has been smashing. Leisurely start to the day in the market with a greasy breakfast and an underwhelming view of a fogged in Elliot Bay. A quick stroll through the market to look at what's for sale and then off to watch them make some cheese across the street. Ah, the power of curds and whey.

Spent some time at Archie McPhee's looking at their random collection of odds and ends. Such a fun store. I wonder if Jesus would be happy with how he looks in the Jesus on Roller Skates action figure form.

Went to Pioneer Square in the evening. We visited Cowgirls a Coyote Ugly style bar with a mechanical bull smack dab in the front window. We couldn't get the ladies up on the bull but we sure saw some interesting folks bucking el toro. This is why God gave us camera phones. Perhaps we'll post the video somewhere.

We ended the night talking ourselves out of a jaywalking ticket and heading home to do shots at the bar. The DD needs a drink too you know. She's old but the little lady can still serve up the drinks. I recommend a PineSol (pineapple rum and OJ). Ends the night quite nicely.

Tomorrow, the SciFi museum (and the ladies go shopping on Capitol Hill).
