Seriously Insane Video Gaming
Now, I have put in a lot of time playing video games. Ant can attest to wasting a few days of his life watching me play Final Fantasy 7. And I equally wasted days if my life watching Josh play FF on his SNES. And we have all been sucked in to playing Red Alert in some form, or at least watching it again for many many hours (except perhaps dean, cause he can play it with real tanks). I was looking around that albino sheep site, like Josh told me to when I found this.

I had seen it before, but I was again amazed at the majesty of it all. Here you will see someone complete Super Mario Brothers 3 in about 11 minutes and the bastard doesnt die once. Now, he makes use of secret warps and stuff, but still. How much time did he (just a guess it is a dude) spend figuring out all of this, and are there more tapes of him solving the game?
I used to think taking 5 hours to get through both Zelda quests without Link dying was pretty impressive.
I bet it was done by some armless 3 year old too.

While it's an interesting video I don't know that you can really consider him to have truly /beat/ the game. Sure, he bolted through it using a warp level to get to the last board but he skipped at least 75% of the game.
It would be much more impressive watching a video of someone beating a non-warpable game of the same era, Contra for example, in 11 minutes w/o dying.
My best was 20 minutes, no deaths, but in two player mode.
